Will is an extremely solid lead or senior compositor who I’ve had the pleasure to work with many times over recent years and would not hesitate to engage again, as an artist in-house or remotely via his company Cumulus VFX. We’ve worked together on a lot of different shows from the fastest turnaround TVC’s to very unforgiving IMAX resolution VFX and he’s nailed it every time, he’s a weapon. Will has a great eye for the art of VFX and knows the science to back it up, every time he’s been at Fuel he’s come up with some new technique to confuse us with that ends up being the backbone for a bunch of shots.

As a leader Will is a great teacher and mentor, bringing those around him up to his level. Being able to work as a ‘force multiplier’ has made an amazing difference on many shows. I can recommend Will without a moments hesitation and encourage anybody wanting more detail to contact me directly.

Will and I practically grew up side by side in this industry when we started out at Rising Sun Pictures. I’ve worked as his comp’adre, his supervisor, his head of department and always in parallel as a long-time friend on everything from comp-heavy and complex AOV build shows through to environment and DMP-centric shows. His passion for the technical and creative quality of work he delivers is undeniably focussed and he takes his craft extremely seriously. Always out to refine and extend his abilities, he constantly laps up new briefs with an intensity and integrity that’s hard to match out there – He’s never intimidated by the complexities of new challenges. Will damn-well loves his work and endeavours to make sure his clients get a sweet taste of that in everything he delivers.
